New Directors Appointed
|
| | Canadian International Minerals Inc. (the "Company") announces the resignation of Robert Ferguson, Terrance Owen and Peter Chen effective June 23, 2008. The Company wishes to thank them for their contribution in advancing the Company towards its listing on CNQ.
The Company is please to announce the appointments of Thomas Hasek P.Eng. and Chris Verrico as directors.
Mr. Hasek is a geologist with over 40 years in the mining industry, including directing exploration and development ventures in numerous jurisdictions and environments. He has served as a director and executive of several junior public companies.
Mr. Verrico has extensive experience in mining and construction contracting particularly in Northern Canada and is currently President and CEO of Lateegra Gold Corp and a director of Raytec Metals Corp.
Michael Schuss will assume the position of CFO.
The CEO of Canadian International Minerals, Michael Schuss, comments "I would like to personally thank Bob, Terry and in particular Peter for their contributions in the early stages of the Company's development. I respect their decision to focus on their other publicly listed companies and understand the time commitments that individuals have to make in being directors and officers. At the same time I am very happy to be adding experienced mining executives like Tom and Chris that bring extensive field, management and financial experience."
The Company is planning a high density airborne geophysical survey to include Aero- TEM, magnetic and radiometrics over its 100% owned Copper Mountain project as outlined in Phase I exploration program in the companys prospectus dated April 9, 2008.
Canadian International Minerals is a junior resource company listed on the CNQ, Canada's newest stock exchange under the symbol CIMI.
